Felt like all the campsites just ran into each other and there was trash everywhere. There were people screaming and fighting well after midnight. Cops were even called by campground. Decided to give it another chance maybe it was just the one group that got kicked out. Next night we moved to 133 since it was a little more private. Still had trash everywhere on the ground. Same problem there was loud parties going on till well past midnight and nothing was being done about it. In the camp store there was a sign that said mask required but even the employees were not wearing masks in the store. They did not care about Covid safety at all. The “lake” was disgusting as well. Garbage was everywhere in the water. Good thing it was closed because I would not want to have to tell my kids no and deal with them being disappointed because there was no way my kids were going in that swamp. I also called the morning before we arrived to ask if the pool was open. I asked the person on the phone twice and they said yes it is open until 10pm. We got there a couple hours later and the pool was covered up and closed for the season.

Our site was very level but not made for larger rigs

It is gated but there is always someone available to open the gate. This campground although is on the older side provides a lot of things to do especially compared to others in the area. There really are a lot of rough roads within the campground, and they have been filled multiple times, but with the type of dirt used it just doesn’t hold up very long. Like any place this place has it issues, but the staff is helpful and friendly, the rates are great and for the events throughout the year it is overall a great place to camp.

If you're not going to Six Flags Great Adventure, there aren't many reasons to camp here. $25 per night on Passport America. Campground wasn't particularly well-kept but it wasn't the worst I've seen either. Sites were fairly small and packed in close to one another, but there were at least a few trees between each of them to serve as a divider. Seemed like the full timers all knew each other and weren't thrilled with outsiders coming in to the camp. Bathhouses were meh...not filthy, but FULL of bugs in the shower area. Campground is gated, and gates close from 9pm to 9am, and I guess you're not even supposed to go in or out during those hours...? It's kind of a weird place. Probably wouldn't go back unless I were headed to the amusement park.
