I spent a few days here in 2021. While in the small town of Elkader, close enough to walk to town, the location is park-like. The city pool is nearby and a great walking path goes right past the RV park. The office facilities are very nice as are the pristine restroom/showers. Only two issues from my perspective... transient sites are mostly in the sun in the afternoon and highway traffic can be heard. I am not going to knock down my rating, though, as it was a thoroughly enjoyable stay. Heck, those restrooms deserved an extra star to make up for the traffic noise and sunny site.
